Real progress!

We have been working hard and so have the roofers, plumbers, carpenters and electrician. After returning two tub faucets and one sink faucet, I think the third try at finding a faucet that will work for the tub will hopefully work.  .

 Mike and I have been wildly painting and have three sides of the house done.  And our arms and legs and faces etc. are painted also.  After all of our experiments with blues, greens, purple etc.  we decided to paint the house yellow.  It is a more dynamic yellow than the old paint, but yellow none the less.

 The deck has begun and the stairs are going to be awesome.  Where there are stairs, there is no railing to block our view while sitting down.

 And last but not least - we have a new roof.  Because the roofer went on vacation, we spent about three weeks without a roof.  And we were lucky in that we were in the middle of one of the area's longest periods of rainless days in history.  Rain is predicted tomorrow and we are covered!
